As it stands, I don't have much time. I can only hope that, should anyone ever find this, they do not suffer the same fate. To think that if I hadn't been so greedy...

My fate was sealed the moment I saw them. If I hadn't have gone so deep, I'd never have laid eyes on their sickeningly elegant forms, nor those eyes... Those Eyes! I cannot close my own without seeing theirs imprinted upon the inky blackness of my eyelids, ever searching and unyielding.

They've followed me. I've been able to feel them getting closer, even as I record this. Hell, now I can even see their eyes without closing my own... unless?
